The Cats

Bobby is the senior academic cat in the household. Born in 2007 on a nearby farm, Bobby is a mature feline with an easy temperament who spends most of his time sleeping on a bed, sofa or comfy chair.

Bruce is the junior academic cat, recently completed his training and now enjoying putting it into practice. Born in November 2016 in a Cats Protection foster home in Aberystwyth, Bruce is a ginger and white tabby. Bruce demonstrates an impressive fascination with books and his favourite toy is a scrunched till (cash register) receipt.

Our third academic cat, Bruce’s sister Diana, met with an accident in September 2017. Despite the best efforts of the vet, she was too seriously injured and had to be put to sleep. She was a lovely little cat, with striking tortoiseshell markings. Her photos will still appear on the blog.
